Bonnic

This is one of my more regular offering's in terms of content. Yes, I ship Sonic and Bonnie together, I call them "Bonnic". I used to refer to this ship as "Sonnie" but didnt like the way it sounded. Why I shipped them together, I will never know, but it started off as a one-off silly idea and evolved into something bigger. An idea intially out of boredom because I am sick of more mainstream Sonic ships such as Sonic with Amy, Shadow, Knuckles or Tails, etc. I also love the uncharacteristic but unique dynamic of Sonic being in love with a robot, being that is the main thing he fights against in regular media. As well as a robot, a robot/animatronic in the form of a LARGE bunny rabbit intrigues me, since I love rabbit characters and Bonnie from Five Nights At Freddys is no exception. While Bonnie is characterised as a killing machine in FNAF, as well as characterised as nightmare fuel to some, I find Bonnies design cute (and somewhat appealing in a way?), and giving him a more human-like personality mixed with his slightly scary or intimidating appearance or demeanor was an interesting juxtaposition. I like size difference, although Sonic and Bonnie is an extreme example of this, its also fun to see them in situations where they are bonding with eachother.

Although Bonnie is canonically an animatronic haunted by a child spirit, in my lore, him along with his accompanying friends are effectively what the Glamrocks would have been if they were never modernised in design. Instead of being destroyed by fire, left abandoned or dismantled by an evil company exec, in my universe, Bonnie and the other Freddy's characters have evolved with time, upgraded with the help of evolving technology and advancements in AI, providing Bonnie and his animtronic friends the abilties to take on thier own personalities traits and skills as well as taking on human-like traits of being caring and loving to those who visit the establishments. In Bonnie's case however, continuous experimentation and failed ventures on behalf of Fazbear Entertainment (as well as some additions on behalf of Tails) have also provided Bonnie some more 'quirky' improvements to his loving nature, allowing him to be romantically involved. Hence the evolving relationship between him and a speedy blue Hedgehog.
